We’re running away with the circus – the Zip Zap Circus, that is! This African treasure will stage its philharmonic circus show, Rhapsody, at the Artscape Theatre in Cape Town from 3 to 6 November 2022 before the cast jets off to romantic Paris for a three month run at the Cirque PhΓ©nix,Europe’s biggest dome-style circus tent.

The non-profit circus school recently celebrated its 30th anniversary. Rhapsody – A Philharmonic Circus includes traditional and contemporary circus acts, accompanied by a 14-piece troupe of musicians, led by conductor Chad Hendricks, and dynamic Cape Town vocalists, Janine and Riyaan Cornelius, who perform hits from Elton John, Tina Turner, local favourites Mango Groove and Johnny Clegg, and a number of other artists to keep the audience fully entertained.
